Hello, we’ve been playing on the new server for a couple of weeks now. It’s a great experience—just like in the old days—and we’re enjoying rediscovering everything. However, it seems someone has found a loophole regarding the coin limit on this new server; either they don’t know how to play fair like the other 400 players, or they’re a magician who somehow managed to get 900k gold from the tavern to invest in their character. Due to the rules, I can’t provide any further details here, but it won’t take you long to spot the player who stands out from the rest.

It was supposed to be so great—the game is playing out just like in the old days, with everyone on equal footing and no one standing out... until now. How on earth does this guy already have 100 in his skills? It’s clear he doesn’t know how to lose. Could you please look into this player? Best regards.

I fought against a "player" whose fight report showed the following stats (already including bonuses):

76 / 68 / 58 / 87 / 90

Just 5 hours later, his raw profile stats were:

100 / 70 / 50 / 100 / 100

I’ll let the community draw its own conclusions.

Maybe he just converted his MoonCoins into gold.

Other players on other servers do that too. It's the same in KF as it is in MG.

CRATR offers this option on all servers, presumably including INT 8.

Ultimately, it's up to each player to decide whether and how many MoonCoins they want to invest in their build.

It's up to each player to decide whether and how many MoonCoins they want to invest in their build. And he apparently spent a lot of money on it (maybe approx 600 to 800 €), so it's still his decision.

Even exchanging MoonCoins for gold can create an imbalance on a server. That's just the way it is, though not to this extent.

If it turns out to be a scam or something similar, please report it via the appropriate ticket.

I wouldn't call it a scam or directly accuse anyone of cheating. I would describe it as taking advantage of a known exploit or loophole.

The INT 8 server was supposed to have limits on the daily amount of MoonCoins that could be converted into gold. The idea was to allow players to boost their characters while keeping things within reasonable and fair limits.

However, it seems "someone" found a way around those restrictions using an alternative method. I won't explain the details here, as I don't want to give other players ideas.

Nobody is complaining about someone spending money on the game. That's entirely their own decision, and nobody is judging that. The issue is that INT 8 was supposed to have safeguards to maintain some balance and prevent such massive skill increases in such a short period of time.

Unfortunately, those safeguards seem to have failed.

@J@sny

Yes, I read the restrictions in the forum, and as you correctly suspected, it's quite possible that this ban was circumvented. In that case, the account will likely be reset so that the necessary spending on their skill build remains within the limits, or the player might even be banned for acting intentionally.

I won't go into the details here, as I don't want to give other players any ideas.

Unfortunately, this thread in the forum may have done just that. It would always be better to discreetly submit a ticket so that others don't get any more foolish ideas.
