Get ready π§& πΊ, MonstersGame is getting its biggest update since a long time β and a brand-new world to go with it.
Launch: August 7th, 20:00 Berlin Time
New technical capabilities have opened doors we didn't think were possible. This isn't just another world β it's a full content update for every world, plus a set of features built exclusively for the new one. (Yes, we know we called Int3 "the last one" β turns out even we underestimated what was still possible. This is the one.)
π Introducing: The Season System
The new world brings something MonstersGame has never had before β seasons.
- Your character stays exactly as it is β no resets, no wipes, progress as usual.
- Every 6 months, a fresh leaderboard kicks off, giving everyone β rookies and veterans alike β a real shot at glory.
- Categories are level-independent (like "most fights won"), so character age won't decide the winner β skill and activity will.
- Top players each season earn exclusive trophies and a permanent spot in the Hall of Fame.

The goal of this test world was to test our adjustments and the new hosting environment β and that part worked really well. We fixed a lot of bugs, the new environment is stable, and we're genuinely happy with this result.

Everyone is ranked in five categories:
- Loot
- Gold won
- Fights won
- Level
- Ancestral fights won
1 = best in each category. Your five ranks are added together β lowest total score wins.
Example from the current table:
Player Loot Gold Fights Level Anc. Total Nyx 2 4 2 1 50.5 59.5 Comtesse 12 1 1 11 50.5 75.5 Nyx leads overall because she's strong across the board (only level 12, top loot & fights). Comtesse is #1 in gold and fights won, but ranks lower in loot and level, so her total is higher.
That's why the leaderboard isn't just "who has the most loot" or "who won the most fights" β balanced play across all five stats wins.
(Tied values share the average rank. Right now almost everyone is tied on ancestral fights, so that category adds the same amount for most players.)
π§ vs πΊ Race Check: Nyx has pulled further ahead at the top β the Vampire lead over Comtesse is now 16 points, up from just 3. But the tables have turned below: Werewolves now hold the better average score overall, even though Vampires still claim the #1 spot!

π MonstersGame is Moving to the Cloud
We're excited to announce that MonstersGame is migrating to the cloud, too.
As part of this migration, we're rolling out our first batch of content additions, Quality of Life (QoL) updates, and bug fixes:
- π Content: New graveyard jobs added, extending all the way to level 500. We've also smoothed out some balancing spikes in the existing curve.
- ποΈ Quality of Life: The shop now shows an indicator for whether a weapon has been improved 4x (and therefore counts toward the Bloodbath achievement) β this info was previously unavailable once a weapon was sold.
- π Bugfix: Improved loading time for the weapon trader.
- π Bugfix: Fixed a failure when creating a duel with custom settings.
- π Per popular request, the old design is now selected by default.
- β More to come.
π§ͺπ Help Us Test β Join Our Test Tournament
Before we migrate any live worlds, we want to put the new cloud infrastructure through its paces β and we'd love for you to help us stress-test it. To make it worth your while, we're running a small tournament on the test server, complete with prizes.
- When: Opens today at 20:00 CEST (18:00 UTC), running until Sunday, July 19th at 20:00 CEST (18:00 UTC).
- How to join: Simply select the test server from the server selector.
- Starting bonus: Everyone begins with 1000 π©Έ on the test server.
(β οΈ Any moon coins spent beyond this will not be refunded once the server closes.) - Scoring: Scoring is based on a combined point total across multiple categories: loot won, gold won, fights won, level reached, and ancestral fights won.
- Prizes: This tournament also marks the debut of our new moonID badge system. The top ten players β and especially the winner β will receive an exclusive, limited-edition event badge, displayed on your profile and in the forums. Sample badges below:
