🚀 MonstersGame is Moving to the Cloud
We're excited to announce that MonstersGame is migrating to the cloud, too.
As part of this migration, we're rolling out our first batch of content additions, Quality of Life (QoL) updates, and bug fixes:
- 🆕 Content: New graveyard jobs added, extending all the way to level 500. We've also smoothed out some balancing spikes in the existing curve.
- 🛋️ Quality of Life: The shop now shows an indicator for whether a weapon has been improved 4x (and therefore counts toward the Bloodbath achievement) — this info was previously unavailable once a weapon was sold.
- 🐞 Bugfix: Improved loading time for the weapon trader.
- 🐞 Bugfix: Fixed a failure when creating a duel with custom settings.
- 😉 Per popular request, the old design is now selected by default.
- ➕ More to come.
🧪🏆 Help Us Test — Join Our Test Tournament
Before we migrate any live worlds, we want to put the new cloud infrastructure through its paces — and we'd love for you to help us stress-test it. To make it worth your while, we're running a small tournament on the test server, complete with prizes.
- When: Opens today at 20:00 CEST (18:00 UTC), running until Sunday, July 19th at 20:00 CEST (18:00 UTC).
- How to join: Simply select the test server from the server selector.
- Starting bonus: Everyone begins with 1000 🩸 on the test server.
(⚠️ Any moon coins spent beyond this will not be refunded once the server closes.) - Scoring: Scoring is based on a combined point total across multiple categories: loot won, gold won, fights won, level reached, and ancestral fights won.
- Prizes: This tournament also marks the debut of our new moonID badge system. The top ten players — and especially the winner — will receive an exclusive, limited-edition event badge, displayed on your profile and in the forums. Sample badges below:

Once we're comfortable with the testing results, we'll begin migrating game worlds in batches, starting with the least populated ones. These content additions, QoL updates, and bug fixes will come along as part of each world's migration.

2018 — while the world was watching the World Cup in Russia, we saved RedMoon from shutting down. Our vision was clear: bring MonstersGame and KnightFight back to their former glory — with fresh design and fresh ideas. Since then we've invested a lot of time, money and heart. We reached real milestones: a new server infrastructure to secure what exists, the KnightFight relaunch in 2020, the 2025 design, and big steps forward in support and marketing.
But let's be honest with you — and with ourselves: it's not enough.
So we turned everything upside down internally. That included some hard decisions and a deep reorganisation. And it brings one piece of news we're especially happy about:
🌑 Akuryou is back. (moonID 1000000000)
He built moonID 14 years ago. He left, leveled up at global players and deep-tech startups — and now he's back under the full moon to drive the road map. 🌕🚀
We promised you a new MonstersGame — that promise stands. But it won't be a 1:1 copy with new paint. To meet today's standards, it has to be built differently, and that's exactly why it'll feel different. That's the ambition, not a compromise.
And the MonstersGame you play today? It stays. Over the next weeks we'll sharpen it with new quality-of-life updates — and we want your ideas and suggestions for it. Then comes the big moment: the launch of the true final MonstersGame world.
KnightFight — still on our table: the int5 reorder. The hoped-for peace is still possible, and we haven't given up on it.
