The world is kicking off — and so are we.

2018 — while the world was watching the World Cup in Russia, we saved RedMoon from shutting down. Our vision was clear: bring MonstersGame and KnightFight back to their former glory — with fresh design and fresh ideas. Since then we've invested a lot of time, money and heart. We reached real milestones: a new server infrastructure to secure what exists, the KnightFight relaunch in 2020, the 2025 design, and big steps forward in support and marketing.

But let's be honest with you — and with ourselves: it's not enough.

So we turned everything upside down internally. That included some hard decisions and a deep reorganisation. And it brings one piece of news we're especially happy about:

🌑 Akuryou is back. (moonID 1000000000)

He built moonID 14 years ago. He left, leveled up at global players and deep-tech startups — and now he's back under the full moon to drive the road map. 🌕🚀

We promised you a new MonstersGame — that promise stands. But it won't be a 1:1 copy with new paint. To meet today's standards, it has to be built differently, and that's exactly why it'll feel different. That's the ambition, not a compromise.

And the MonstersGame you play today? It stays. Over the next weeks we'll sharpen it with new quality-of-life updates — and we want your ideas and suggestions for it. Then comes the big moment: the launch of the true final MonstersGame world.

KnightFight — still on our table: the int5 reorder. The hoped-for peace is still possible, and we haven't given up on it.

Next Steps — m2a Games on moonID

As already announced: the m2a games will be leaving moonID — and here's how we've made sure no one gets left behind.
Every m2a player will receive a personal code from us via their moonID email. This code can be used to link your account with Cyberdjinn — simple, straightforward, no data lost. Whether this happens through a dedicated landing page at the new owners or via their support team is still being worked out. We'll let you know as soon as we have more details.
Until the final handover is complete, your moonID login for the games remains active.
If everything goes as planned, this is a genuinely good outcome for everyone.

Our partnership with m2a Produktionen goes back to 2011 — a handshake we still remember fondly, back in the days of RedMoon in Gersthofen. In 2019 we relaunched the collaboration, and a lot has happened since.

At the turn of the year 2026, our long-time partners sold their three games — including Slayer of Souls, Funny Garden, Days of Evil. A big thank you to m2a for over a decade of great partnership. We're sure many of you feel the same.

At first, we were unable to establish contact with the new owners (Cyberdjinn). That has now changed. We are cautiously optimistic that there could be some form of cooperation, or at least a one-time transfer of game data. We expect to know more in the coming weeks.

We were never the publisher of these games and have no data sovereignty over the former m2a titles. The same goes the other way around. The connection runs via a secured token on the moonID.net platform — a direct link to a player's moonID identity is not possible from either side. In case of doubt, nothing needs to be deleted.

Until the next steps are fully clarified, you can continue to use your moonID login for the games.
