Our partnership with m2a Produktionen goes back to 2011 — a handshake we still remember fondly, back in the days of RedMoon in Gersthofen. In 2019 we relaunched the collaboration, and a lot has happened since.
At the turn of the year 2026, our long-time partners sold their three games — including Slayer of Souls, Funny Garden, Days of Evil. A big thank you to m2a for over a decade of great partnership. We're sure many of you feel the same.
At first, we were unable to establish contact with the new owners (Cyberdjinn). That has now changed. We are cautiously optimistic that there could be some form of cooperation, or at least a one-time transfer of game data. We expect to know more in the coming weeks.
We were never the publisher of these games and have no data sovereignty over the former m2a titles. The same goes the other way around. The connection runs via a secured token on the moonID.net platform — a direct link to a player's moonID identity is not possible from either side. In case of doubt, nothing needs to be deleted.
Until the next steps are fully clarified, you can continue to use your moonID login for the games.

The maintenance is complete and everything is back up and running!

The migration was successful. moonID and all related services are fully operational again. You can now log in and play as usual.
We're planning a maintenance session tonight. Here are the details from aszlig:
"We need to perform a small (but ugly) migration on the moonID database and some related services on Wednesday, March 25th (2026) at 02:00 (AM) UTC (that is 03:00 CET).
This unfortunately can't be done without downtime, so if things go as planned, it'll only be a matter of minutes. Since we live and breathe Murphy's law, we certainly know things will go wrong, so expect the downtime to be up to 2 hours.
During this time, only moonID is affected, so if you have an existing game session, you won't be affected.
Be sure to either be asleep (if you're living in a time zone where it's night time) or log into the game worlds you want to play on before 02:00 (AM) UTC."
