I've noticed that one handed knights are at a severe disadvantage to two handers, especially at lower levels. If you compare one handed knights and two handed knights with similar stats and money invested in items, the two handed knights are extremely more powerful in battle.
I would surmise a good way to counter this would be by adding helmets or increasing one handed player defense by some means. Anyone agree or am I just jealous of how strong these guys are haha

I can agree with that. As you said, this is especially noticeable at lower levels.

Some improvements from game developers would be helpful.

At lower levels I agree, 2H has an advantage, but at higher levels it swings the other way round as the high defense nullifies the high attack.

At that point a 2H needs signifiant FA/PA advantage to get the crits and avoid taking damage.
