Great news!

Can you provide a little more details? Does this concern weapons, armor, shields? What's medium level? 30, 50, or 100? This information is necessary, because we have to decide which type of knight we want to play. Personally, I'm still considering it. I like 1h, but unfortunately, I won't have a chance against 2h for the first 2-3 months, so I'll probably take 2h.

Thanks, also for your question! Here are some clarifications:
β€’ Medium level in our balancing discussions usually means around level 30 up, where weapon choice and stats start to matter most.
β€’ The idea behind the rework is to leave the weapons themselves unchanged, but increase the battle efficiency of 1H warriors, so they are not at a disadvantage anymore.

-> If you enjoy the 1h playstyle, it should become a more viable and strategic choice without changing the core weapon stats.

How will you improve the battle efficiency of 1h player around level 30
without any changes to weapon/armor/shield?

As we read in the introduction (manual) on the battle server:
"The battle efficiency of a warrior depends on the character stats and equipment that the player was using on the home game world when the battle session was initiated."

Maybe you mean something else? I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but it seems that 1h players will receive kind of "compensation" on battle server by having opponents for 2, 3 exp/each iwhen 2h players have only 1 exp, right?

I wonder how do you want to increase chance 1h players to defeat 2h players on the same level when there are no changes to weapons.
