My suggestion is to display the character's stats on the equipment screen.

Currently, the page shows "Battle Efficiency" and the currently equipped equipment, and below that, we have our entire inventory.

When changing a weapon/shield/amulet or anything else, the game could display the knight's updated stats on this screen, because today I have to EQUIP AN ITEM, go to the home page, view the damage/defense, return to the estate, equip another item, and then return to the home screen to compare...

I think it's something simple that would greatly enhance the game.

If it were a mobile app where that wasn't possible I'd agree with you, but the workaround is so easy I'd rather not have duplicate info displayed mysefl. (just open a new tab and hit F5 and switch between them)

You can also use all the equations needed other than BE (as that one is not publicly available) and use a spreadsheet program to do your own offline testing too. (its what I do myself).

Get the info off the wiki - plug in all the values and you can see whether X weapon or Y armour/shield will make "enough" of a difference to be worth spending your money on. (gold or mc's etc)

It's easier for you to create your own game.
I've never seen anyone try to make it so difficult for the end user as to have a separate spreadsheet; what world do you live in? hahaha

2026, will we live easier?

I created it years and years and years ago.... so it's zero effort for me other than update some numbers now. (though I did copy it into an ods file form an xls....

It also only took me about 2 hours - and most of that was alignment. (AKA it's ridiculously simple formulas)

I did it to save myself MC's and in-game gold - 2 hours of my time was worth that effort over the years.

I also did it to see if spent X amount of gold on Y stats what build would be stronger at certain level points based on equivalent equipment.

And then I ignored all my findings and built an armoured 2H anyway XD.

(PS just because some things in life are easier, doesn't mean that doing a little work yourself has no reward - even for a game)

Friend, that’s not the point.

First of all, your spreadsheet has a different purpose — it’s meant for forward-looking calculations, with attribute changes, etc. I only suggested showing the current stats, so you can easily see the gain/loss in damage/defense based on your efficiency, for a quick entry into BS (for example).

Second, I know all of that too. I have my ChatGPT trained to do exponential upgrade calculations for me, as well as damage and attribute calculations, but that’s not what I’m suggesting on the screen. It’s something much simpler.

And to top it off: do you play GTA having to build spreadsheets? Do you play Black Desert building spreadsheets? (examples). Games weren’t made for you to have to develop external tools just to get a view of your game. If someone wants to, fine, but it’s not viable to turn that into something normal.

@p_b, while you’re talking about this formulas topic, there’s something I’ve never found on forums/wikis (it doesn’t really matter, but I’m curious):

Is there a calculation for the maximum/average value you can obtain from missions? Do you know any information about that?

Yes I agree that to see BE changes then it would be useful - but I still don;t think it is good to duplicate info in a UI - a re-design of both aspects so that you can see your BE + your equipment + your dam/def + your attributes in a single place would be the "better" solution imo.

And sorry but I had to laugh that you've "trained" a LLM to do a ridiculously simple set of calculations.... pushing the simple task to a cloud server is the reason that these things are consuming more power than small countries and ram prices for gamers/ "normal" people are now ridiculous.
But each to their own....

RE the mission formula - I don't think I've ever seen it; there is some link to level as the numbers go up steadily as one levels up, but I've no idea.

I've never traced the numbers to try to find something range wise that fits - but there's def RNG and a % factor at play.

I deleted my AI agent... See if the price of RAM has dropped for you.

Now I'm going to install an Excel spreadsheet on my iPhone and go back to living in 1992.

Thanks for the tips.
